大家好!今天我演讲的题目是《责任与使命》。
花的责任是散发芬芳,鸟的责任是飞扬歌声,树的责任是营造绿荫。生活中的每一个人,也都有自己的所应该承担的责任。给人责任,也就给了信任和真诚,有了责任,也就成就了尊严和使命。
十几年前,我带着对新生活的憧憬,带着教书育人的职业使命,走到了讲台这一方土天地间。一千多个日日夜夜已悄然逝去,曾经的我默默的下定决心,一定要在自己的事业上有所成就,我要用心来对待我的工作,用自己的方式诠释我对教育的理解,也就是带着这种信念和决心,几年来我对工作可谓是一丝不苟,勤勤恳恳。对待任何工作我都充满着热情,学校给予的各种机会我都牢牢把握。无数个白天黑夜,我远离了喧嚣人群,多少个宁静的夜晚,我安于寂寞,笔耕不辍。有时,为了备好一堂课,我认真钻研教材好几遍;有时,为了准备一篇论文,我翻阅大量书籍,不断学习新知,提升教育理念;有时,为了写好一则报道,对简单的几十个字我反复琢磨,细细推敲;也有时,为了完成上级交给的紧急任务,我加班加点直到雄鸡报晓。更有时为了辅导学生的比赛放弃无数个中午和休息日,只为完成我自己的使命。
还依稀记得前几年的那次小学英语歌咏歌谣比赛,那是我第一次辅导学生比赛。出于对职业的这份责任心,我给了自己压力,从接到通知的那一刻,我就开始张罗。于是几乎所有的空余时间,我都在苦思冥想,构思,选曲,选人每一个细节我都力求做到最完美。三年级的孩子懂的英语实在是太少,我没法将歌词复印给他们自己去背,只能对着10个孩子一个单词一个单词地教。但是让我最困惑的不是这个,而是没有时间给我们排练,很多次都要我一个个教室的去找人,等别的组都训练完了我们再抓紧时间排练一会儿。跟本不会唱歌的我却让她们一句一句跟着我唱直到熟练为止,更不善于跳舞的我却要自创队型,自编动作,一遍一遍地教,一个一个动作细扣。奇怪的是我一点也不感觉到累,反倒觉得和这群孩子一起排练的日子很幸福,只有在那个时候我才能觉得这群孩子是属于我的,我喜欢那种感觉。这就是我,一个普通的小学英语老师,我没有力量去改变什么,但我希望能把自己的能力发挥到极致。我会不厌其烦的跟学生强调英语的重要性,只是真心的希望他们能为初中的学习打下更好的基础;我也会花上两个星期的时间,记住所教班级的学生的名字,只是希望能更快的了解他们;我还会一次次向领导提出建议,以期用我微弱的力量来改变学生英语学习的现状,因为这是我——一个平凡的小学英语教师的使命。
责任与使命——是你成熟的标志和跨进成功大门的门票,责任是永生的动力,持续的激情。三尺讲台啊,如果只为一时的冲动,谁会走向你?如果只为一时的好奇,谁会留恋你?对你的虔诚,注定我要在你那尺方的天地,作永生的战斗。

各位家长:
很高兴能有这样一个机会,能和大家进行面对面的交流。我是二年1、6、7、8、10班的英语任课教师,我姓赵。下面我就我们英语学习方面说我一些真实的感言:
在英语课堂上,大部分学生都能很活跃的回答老师提出的问题,积极跟着老师拼读单词,朗读课文。其实这也制造了一种假象,学生认为自己常常被老师提问,认为自己能够回答老师的问题,于是认为自己的英语学得很不错,自我感觉特别好。于是下课后在英语上花的时间就少了。其实要学好英语,课上占40%,其余的60%还需要学生在课后不断的巩固,加深记忆。在课上老师更多的是教授新知识,当然课上也会有少量的时间巩固新学的知识。但是这些时间是公共的时间,而不是每个学生私有的时间,所以不可能照顾到每个学生,不可能让所有学生都达到相同的程度。况且每个学生对新知识得接受能力都是不同的,有的可能当堂就已经有很深的印象,很难忘记,但这肯定是很少的。大部分学生都只能是初步接触了新知识,要真正接受新知识还要学生在课后多下功夫,不然肯定会和别的同学拉下差距。
那么在课后学生到底该怎么做才能把其余的60%补回来呢?英语毕竟不是我们自己的语言,大多数学生除了英语课其余时间根本就不会想到要说英语,所以,在课后一定要主动抽时间为自己补习英语。学好英语,不外乎就是在听,说,读,写这些方面下功夫。
首先说一下听,每个学生都有和书相配套的磁带,可是请各位家长检查一下自己的子女的英语磁带,有多少学生的磁带还是和刚发的时候一样的,根本就没有听过。不要说另外买什么英语听力磁带或者英语学习的碟片了,连自己手头的磁带都不去听,光靠上课听一点点的磁带,学生的听力根本就不能有什么发展。不会听就不能说,而说白了,学了英语就是要说,那不是白学了么?我每天叫学生回家要跟录音机读二十分钟的英语,可是有多少学生真地做到了呢?听录音机跟读,不是鹦鹉学舌,听见什么就跟着说什么。所读的知识已经学过了,跟录音机读应该是提高自己的听力和口语表达能力,要学生尽力地去模仿录音机里的发音,从而使自己的听力和口语都提高一个层次。
接下来是说,英语是一门语言,学了就是要说,要和别人交流。我们学的英语不应该是哑巴英语,要让每个学生学会勇敢地说出来。在课上我会用各种方法来刺激学生,激发他们说英语的积极性,大多数学生也确实做得很好。可是班级里人多,对每个人来说,说的机会就少。所以下课也要说;放学回家也要说。在学校,我鼓励学生把所学的英语对话运用到生活中去,这样有更真实的情景,更能让学生有发挥的余地。在家里,希望家长也能鼓励学生说英语,也许你会说你自己也听不懂,请不要这样想,其实学生需要是你的鼓励,你听了他们说的只要简单表扬一句,他们就会很满足了。有时候你们也可以不懂装懂,或者还可以让学生反过来教你,他们会觉得很自豪,因为自己所学得派上了用场。
接下来是读。有句话:“读书破万卷,下笔如有神。”学英语也是这样,很多家长也明白,学英语要培养语感,也就是语言的感觉,如果有很好的语感,那么不管是说话,做题目,还是写文章,都很轻松,很简单了。那么语感怎么来呢?就是靠读出来的。一定要让学生养成每天读英语的习惯,这是学英语的最基本的学习习惯了。我刚开始学英语的时候就是这样的,每天早上一定要读20分钟左右的英语,哪怕有时候时间来不及了,即使是迟到也要读,并且每天都坚持,绝不因任何原因间断。无论什么事情都贵在坚持嘛。如果你的子女还没有养成这样的学习习惯,请你一定要督促他,刚开始也许会比较难,时间久了,就会习惯成自然。就像早上起来要刷牙洗脸一样,要让他们把读英语当作每天必做的一件事。
最后是写。二年级英语已经对学生有一定的书写要求。首先是单词,单词是句子,段落,课文的最基本组成单位。背单词是学英语的必经之路。单词往往背过就容易会忘记,所以要不断的背,不断的翻新,这是没有办法的。我要求学生在背单词的时候要边拼边写,嘴巴和手都要动起来,嘴上十遍不如手上一遍。还有句型,二年级所接触的巨型都是很简单的日常用语。学生应该在课上领会句型的意思和运用方法。可后还需要通过多读课文,多练习才能巩固所学的句型。所以请各位家长不光要注重孩子背单词的情况,还要让他重视句子的重要性。
总而言之,请各位家长多关注孩子们的.英语学习,让孩子养成良好的英语学习习惯。家长的重视会让学生增加信心,提高学生的学习积极性。与其在期末时看到大家都不愿看到的不理想的分数,还不如在平时就多关心孩子学习的过程。不是要说注重过程嘛。还希望家校携手共同提高孩子们的英语学习水平。我要讲的就是这些,谢谢!

On January 13, Jin Weijie, a teacher from Longhua Chinese-English Experimental School in Baoan rushed to save four primary school students and sacrifice herself.
On March 31, a traffic accident happened in Jiangsu Province, once again, a primary school teacher, Yin Xuemei, saved six primary school students’ lives, while losing her own. This touched my heart deeply. Who is the greatest? The teacher! If it was me, if I happened to be there, I would do the same thing, because I am a teacher, too.
Working as a teacher, maybe there is nothing special in their life. But we have a belief deep within, that is --we must protect our students, keep our children safe, we won’t let any of them get hurt. Just as what the commissioner of education in Jiangsu Province said: “The accident happened so quickly, it happened in a flick of an eye, there is no time to think about it or hesitate, saving the others is an instinctive action. She did it only because she was of great stature. She forgot about herself in the heat of the moment. ”

I studied english educashion at my college. I chose this major just because its tuition was not high at that time. Then half a year before my graduation i came to shandong to be an english teacher. Far away from my hometown. Then i have lived here for 7 years and taught for 7 years too. I love teaching. I love talking to my students.
How do I enjoy myself with my students? I don’t think I can express how I love my students in a few words. I just know, they are the future of China; they are infinity in my hand. What could I do with them? To wait, to be patient, to expect and to love. From them, every teacher must see their future, teaching and guiding them responsibly.
And then, as teachers, not only do we need to be friendly to them, but also all the time we have to be ready for helping them. Once two girls in my class went out for wandering from home without telling anyone else including their patents. In fact, they just wanted to escape from the family, which was full of quarreling. It’s not hard to imagine how worried their parents were! But they had no way to communicate with them, nor find them. As class teacher, there was no time. I decided quickly to help the holpless parents. And I tried to contact with their classmates to make sure what they had talked about the going before. Then I spent the whole night in looking for them with their parents in the city. After a long time searching, we found the girls . When they saw me, their class teacher, they cried loudly and sadly. Everything was OK after they told me their complaints to parents. At that time, I knew, sometimes, the teacher was the very bridge between parents and their children. How important, how great to be a teacher is!
To me, my students are just like the wild flowers. Can we see a World or Heaven in them? The answer is definitely Yes. If you want to enjoy yourself while teaching, respect and love your students as their friends; work hard with full responsibility.
So, what is responsibility? From my point of view, responsibility is accepting what you are facing -- and not complaining your students. Responsibility is holding your students' hands and reminding them to watch both ways before crossing their road. When there is something difficult in front of students, responsibility is helping them over them. When your students are in a trouble, responsibility is being there on time to help and guide them -- even if that means you will miss your favorite things.
Because I love my students, then I enjoy myself with full responsibility.That is why I together with you,try our best to be an excellent English teacher today!

Good afternoon ladies and gentleman,It is a great honor to be chosen to speak here. I value this chance of sharing teaching experience with distinguished teachers very much. To be honest I felt rather nostalgic when somebody told me I would make a speech before all of you fine people. I can still remember when I made my first speech in college. My heart would have jumped out of my chest if I hadn’t tried my best to control my breath. The reason lies in the fact that I really didn’t know what to say at that time!Well today, being a teacher of English for some years in Shenzhen, I have a strong sense of responsibility, which always fills me with strength and confidence. I am from Xinzhou Middle School located in the west part of Shenzhen. There are two extremes in my school. About 38% are from local resident families, whose parents are rich and some even rich enough to own several buildings. But some of the children in such families turned out to be slow in their lessons.
They seem to have everything but the motivation of learning. However, About 60% of the students are from working class families in the villages near by, whose parents hold temporary residence identities. Sometimes when we visit these students at home we noticed that a large proportion of their living standards are very critical. Some don’t even have desks good enough to finish their homework on. No wonder they appear quite reluctant to pay enough attention to the teachers in classes, and always find excuses not to finish their homework. And according to assessment criteria there are 40% students struggling to get a pass in the English learning. Some even can not make a proper sentence before they are going to take the matriculation examinations.
I still remember once I saw my student coming to school with one arm hanging on her neck. When asked she just said she was careless when she run across a pond, fell down and broke her arm. But later I got to know that she fell from the place she sleeps on the temporary second floor at home, where half of it is a small shop in the village, while she was climbing down the ladder. At that time she was in a hurry to go to school. Not until then did I realized how hard it is for some of our students to manage to survive in Shenzhen, let along concentrate in learning their lessons at school. I believe if children live in poverty, they learn to fight for their future, if children live in comfort they learn to enjoy themselves. Then come the question, “How could I help them?”
“What do they need most?” After some years of practicing I got to know three golden rules in English teaching in such kind of schools. Rule No.1 Getting to know what exactly problems in our students’ learning English have and trying best to give them individual instructions;Rule No.2 Try best to build up their confidence, let them have a taste of success. Make them believe that English is not that difficult as they thought to be;Rule No.3 Never trying to teach them the knowledge of English until they really mastered their own way of studying. For the most valuable knowledge is not the knowledge itself; it is the learning strategy.Rule No. 4 The most important aspect in teaching here is love we cherish during teaching. I’ve learned to be the students’ teacher, their elder sister, their friend, their mother and so on. I show my care and love for them. Whenever they are in trouble, being sick, feeling blue or in a bad mood, I am the person that will try to take care of them, talk with them or try to help them balance themselves in good condition. I respect and trust them. When they fall in love with sb., quarrel with friends, cannot get along well with parents, etc. I’ll analyze the pros and cons, the advantages and disadvantages, and give them some opinions or suggestions. I sympathize with and understand them. When they break the rules or do something wrong carelessly, I will help them out of trouble instead of scolding them. I am always strict with them and also place high and enthusiastic hopes on them to make them be strict with themselves and be confident of themselves.
Everyone needs love. Love is one of the most magical and wonderful feelings in the world. Teachers’ love for their students can make the impossible become possible. I’m very glad and excited that I have a chance like this to share my own experience of teaching with you.
The topic of my today’s lecture is Better to Teach a Man Fishing Than to Give Him a Fish ----Cultivating Good Studying Habits of Students In English Teaching.
School education is very important and useful. The students not only learn knowledge but also get an education. Yet, no one can learn everything at school. The scientists, such as Edison, Newton, Galileo and Einstein, did not learn everything at school. They learned a lot of knowledge outside school or practice by themselves. A teacher, even he knows a lot, can’t teach his students everything. Our job is to show our students how to learn, how to read and how to think. A good teacher with rich experience in teaching can teach his students the methods (ways) of study. Through these methods the students are able to learn and get a lot of things by themselves.
Since I became an English teacher over ten years ago, I have had a definite teaching thought: I teach my students not only English words and grammar but also methods of studying English by making full use of teaching materials so as to enable them to develop good studying habits bit by bit.
Then, what are good studying habits of students? In my opinion, they should include the following at least: the habit of previewing actively before class; the habit of listening intensively in class; the habit of reviewing carefully after class; the habit of completing homework independently; the habit of thinking deeply and actively; the habit of making notes during reading out of class; and good habits of reading aloud, memorizing, reciting, etc. Those habits should contribute to assimilating English knowledge they have learned into their own ones, and promoting their abilities of listening, speaking, reading, and writing all round. So, as English teachers, we must be good at cultivating good studying interest of students, enable them to develop good studying habits and make English studying continue for their life.
The first is how to preview before class. I call for my students to preview well before class which will be learned next class. For new words and phrases in text, students should not only practice spelling but also understand their meanings according to sentences and context. For texts and dialogues, students may understand them through the use of notes, reference books or dictionaries at hand, searching topic paragraph or sentence, then try doing exercises after class. Of all these can help them to find problems or questions as well as master the points that are important and difficult in text, which might lighten the pressure of students in new classes. This is a kind of good studying habit and of method available of training the ability to teach themselves. We should call for our students to last for practicing in a consistent way. In doing so, good studying habits can be developed ultimately.
The second is how to listen to class. Teachers should make students develop good habits of concentrating on listening to class and questioning actively in class. Only if listening to class in earnest, can students settle questions found when they previewed before class; only if raising doubts actively, can they develop abilities of thinking independently and innovating boldly. Mr. Ye Shengtao once said, “A man should raise doubts when reading books, and settle doubts when running into them.” Aristotle also said, “ Doubts and curiosity precede thoughts.” And Li Zhengdao holds the similar idea, “To quest knowledge edge demands learning and questioning; to learn the answer is not the substance of knowledge.” So we can see, it is important to question actively and raise doubts boldly for studying. This is like sunshine and rain to the trees, little trees cannot grow into big ones without them. Therefore, whether in class or after class, we should actively encourage students to question, to raise doubts, to have discussion, stimulate them to analyze questions and to seek approaches to settle them, and cultivate their spirits of thinking independently and innovating boldly.
The third is how to review and summarize. I always call for my students to go over what they have learned that day so as to have deeper impressions of the key contents, just like to see the film in their brains. It is very useful to strengthen the memory and the knowledge they have learned. Besides, after a week or a month, students should summarize the related knowledge, homework and analyze papers. This is also good habit of studying. Only in this way, can the learned knowledge be completed. It is of great help to get different thinking abilities for students.
The fourth is attitudes towards homework of students. Good attitudes towards homework should involve writing it earnestly and normally, and completing it independently during a definite period. We should consider the homework after reading and amending, not only find the mistakes, including the spelling mistakes, but also analyze the reasons. I also together my students set up archives for mistakes and sum up all different types in order not to make the same mistakes during studying. Keeping on doing as that until they form a habit. It can not only improve the students’ practical English level, but also help them to analyze and solve the problems.
Besides that, reading and reciting is one of the effective methods to English studying. As we all know, reading is a way to input the information. During the reading, the movements of mouth and tongue can be reflected in brain and become mechanical memory, which is very useful to memorize the words and expressions. In this way, we can not only train the instinctive feel for the language of the students, but also increase the process of turning the language accumulation into the language application. This is just the goal for input. So in my English teaching, I often guide the reading and reciting to make the students have good memorial habit and develop their abilities to read and write.
Finally, I’d like to talk about how to form the habit of writing reading notes after class. We all know that writing is also one of the most important and basic abilities during studying English. So, Every week I choose five to ten English passages for the students to read and write down some notes by themselves. I check their notes at any time. The passages can be different kinds from the newspaper , Internet and other ways. Sometimes, the students also share some excellent articles they think with each other. Doing like that is helpful to enlarge the words and phrases, enrich the knowledge and develop the ability of using English. The old proletarian educator, Mr. Xu Teli said, “The good memory is not useful as the nib, you don’t know how to read if you never write.” He pointed out the method of reading and emphasizes the importance of writing notes. So besides having the habit to write down the notes in classes, the students should form the habit to write notes when they are reading. I tell the students to write down the particular usage of some words, quote some instructive sayings, well-known sayings and the opinions of themselves during reading. It can widen their outlook, practice the ability to make sentences and improve the whole level of using English. So we can see that it is far away that the students only have the interest to learn English, the important point is the students have reading method and good habit to use their brains and hands.
In a word, good habit is the most important factor to get success in English studying, we must pay much attention to training the students to form the good learning habits. The old saying is: “Give a fish to others, that is just for a meal; but if we teach them hoe to fish, that is for their whole lives.” We should the students how to learn English and how to analyze the problems, make them form good learning habits and have the ability to learn new knowledge during teaching. It is useful for the students to become the creative talents, who have creative character and spirit and have firm foundation for entering the colorful society.

由于上学期带过这个班两个多月的语文,这一班学生的学习情况我还是基本了解的,其实在座的家长对自己子女的情况比我更加清楚。学生们的英语都是开学时同一起跑线上起跑的,经过两个多月的学习,学生与学生之间已经拉开了差距。一些好的学生学习兴趣浓,学习劲头足,课堂上积极思维,踊跃发言,课后及时巩固,形成了良性循环的好势头。他们的学习习惯好,在听、说、读、写方面都能齐头并进,我为他们感到欣慰。可也有一些学生,平时学习马虎,作业质量差,还不努力,书面作业拖拉不交,口头作业根本不完成,如此一来,学习自然成了件头痛事,麻烦事。其实,大部分的学生还是处于中间层次,老师所教的,所布置的作业能够基本完成,但学习的效率又因人而异,存在着个体差别。

重视良好的学习习惯的培养
(1)让孩子多听录音在少儿英语教学中,首先是加强听力训练和说话训练,然后才是读写能力的培养。听说能力差,用英语进行交际的能力差,为此,家长一定要配合学校来要求孩子,要创造条件让孩子多听,多听纯正的录音,听几遍、听清楚了以后,跟着说。按照眼前利益来看,我们的升学考试也一年比一年注重听力、阅读等需要综合能力的部分。
(2)让孩子大声说英语。家长要每天留出15分钟左右时间让孩子读读英语,不管当天有无英语课。我们要鼓励孩子大声地朗读、对话、问答,大声说,不害羞,这样有利于清楚地表达自己,也有利于他人纠正自己的错误。
(3)督促学生识记单词。分散记忆、根据读音记忆单词都是可取的方法。有时,我们回家布置抄写单词,其目的不在于抄,而在于提醒学生记忆这些单词。但是在日常学习中,学生不重视这项作业,认为只是抄抄而已,不做也没什么关系,其实他连抄写都不做,根本别说是去背了,结果几次下来,他负债累累,应付不过来,学习处于被动状态,从而影响了以后的学习,出现退步现象。因此,请大家在家里督促孩子保质保量地完成英语作业,该读的读、该说的说、该写的写、该记的记,及时巩固,养成良好的习惯。父母亲的良好榜样起着很大作用。孩子一般还没有明确的学习目的,这时,父母亲对学习的态度,特别是行为,会极大地影响孩子。在默写单词的时候,有时会需要父母帮忙,我知道许多家长不懂英语,但你可以读中文。我平时给孩子们听写也是读中文。家长们千万不能纵容自己的孩子第一次说:英语好难,我默写不出来,就任由他去。你让你的孩子知道:今天,你花大时间去养成好习惯,明天,你就可以更好。今天,你偷懒了一会,你明天的作业就会更多。累积下来,你就是欠债最多的人。孩子是每个家庭的重心和希望,有一位家长说过:“要把培养孩子当作自己的事业来做。”是啊,只要你多投入一点,相信你的孩子会给予你更多的回报!
