As can be seen in the“The Time to Select Course” picture, a college student is hesitating over with optional courses : one of them is described as easier pass, higher scores, fewer assignments while the other is generally accepted with more challenging knowledge and innovation .

It is obvious to reveal the dilemma facing a number of college students in their accademic work, that is to say, they have realzied the difficult one is important for further development, but tend to choose the easier path. A number of factors may account for this phenomenon, but the leading one might be the fact that the grade is the only one that counts in calculating a student's overall GPA which is closely related to scholarships, opportunities to study abroad and job hunting.
